SALT LAKE CITY — Starting next week, the Draper Utah Temple, Jordan River Utah Temple, and Oquirrh Mountain Utah temple will enter phase two of the reopening process, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced on Monday.

In addition, nearby temples in Star Valley, Wyoming; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Twin Falls, Idaho, will also move to the second phase next week.

That’ll bring the number of Utah temples in the second phase of reopening to 13. Last week, the church announced 10 Utah temples would move to the second phase starting Monday. Beginning next week, the Manti and Monticello temples will be the only Utah temples that are not currently being renovated that'll still be in the first phase of reopening.

In phase two of the reopening plan, temples are open for all living ordinances, but with COVID-19 safety restrictions in place. Sealing, or marriage, ceremonies will be given priority, followed by endowments for in-field missionaries and then those departing for missionary service. Patron housing, clothing, and cafeteria operations are still closed.
