(KSL News) A man pulled over for having no car insurance led police on a chase through the city.
Police say the man took off as soon as an officer stopped him. The officer later learned the license plate on the car and possibly the car itself were stolen.
Police chased the man until he crashed his car into a power pole.
Sgt. Mitch Gwilliam, with the North Salt Lake Police Department, said, "He hit the pole pretty hard. He was conscious and breathing and, from my understanding, he was complaining of some minor injuries."
The man was taken to the hospital. Police say they'll file charges when he's released.
