(KSL News) -- The Utah Department of Health is offering free STD screenings, after noticing a sharp increase in two sexually transmitted diseases.
Since 2001 the number of gonorrhea cases have tripled in the state and chlamydia cases have increased by one-third. Health officials say many times people pass on the illnesse without knowing they have them.
