(KSL News) A 45-year-old man struck by a truck while crossing the street in Provo last night has died.
Police say the man was crossing State Street near 1450 N. outside of a crosswalk when he was struck.
He was transported to the hospital with severe head injuries.
Officers say he was likely under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Daily Herald, the driver of the truck was not injured. He will not be cited.
