(KSL News) Utah Department of Transportation crews switched westbound traffic on Interstate 80 between State Street and 7th East today.
The switch moves the traffic onto the newly constructed westbound lanes, and straightens the lanes. Traffic will no longer zigzag through the area.
The eastbound traffic will make the shift to new pavement in mid-December.
