A crash at a Salt Lake City intersection left an 85-year-old woman dead this morning. It happened in the intersection of 600 South and 500 East.
Police say the woman was driving northbound through a green light when her car was struck by an eastbound SUV. The car veered off the road and into an apartment building.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passengers in the SUV were not hurt.
