Car crashes into La Frontera restaurant in SLC

SALT LAKE CITY — A vehicle plowed into the front of the La Frontera Cafe in Salt Lake City Sunday, leaving substantial property damage but no serious injuries.

Salt Lake City police detective Greg Wilking confirmed the crash at the 1236 West and 400 South restaurant.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation, and Wilking said he has no additional information at this time.
