RIVERTON — Eight people were involved in a three-car crash on the border of Riverton and Bluffdale, according to police.
Officers from Riverton and Bluffdale responded to the intersection of 2700 West and Bangerter Highway around 5 p.m., according to a statement by Sgt. Dan W. Thomas of the Riverton police.
Three children, 8, 12 and 14, were transported to Primary Children's Medical Center in fair condition.
Three adults were transported to Intermountain Medical Center in varying conditions. A 73-year-old individual was transported in critical condition, while a 36-year-old was transported in stable condition and a 74-year-old was transported in fair condition.
The condition of the other two individuals were unknown.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash; however, impairment is not considered to be a factor.
