IMPENDING DOOM — There are just two short months left before Netflix will have to deal with the sure-to-be-huge Disney+, the entertainment giant’s upcoming streaming service that debuts November 12.

Netflix has heavily invested in original content over the last several years — possibly because they anticipated losing out on shows and movies as companies like Disney start reserving their properties for their own streaming services.

As expected, a few Disney movies will be leaving Netflix next month, including “Pocahontas,”“Hercules” and “Mulan,” as well as the “Lilo and Stitch” spinoffs “Leroy and Stitch” and “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch,” according to a news release from the company.

If you’re not going to subscribe to Disney+ in November, you might want to check out those titles before they leave Netflix.

A quick check of Netflix’s lineup reveals that there are still a few Disney movies on the service that don’t appear to be dropping in September, including “Tarzan,”“The Princess and the Frog” and “The Emperor’s New Groove.”

Though Disney movies on the service are dropping like Simba’s dad (too soon?), Netflix is adding a number of other new movies and shows in September. Among them are the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy films “The Two Towers” and “The Return of the King.”
