MAGNA — One man was injured in an alleged home invasion robbery Monday.

The 19-year-old man told Unified police that he was in his apartment, 8450 W. 2700 South, at about 11 a.m. when two men forced their way in, pistol-whipped him, punched him and fired a shot out his bedroom window, said Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray.

The man was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. No one had been arrested as of Monday afternoon.

Gray said detectives were still trying to piece together exactly what happened.
