THE STABLES — From rodeos to dressage, there is a certain look you need to adopt in order to effectively participate in an equestrian sport.

Whether it’s chaps and cowboy boots or breeches and riding boots, wearing the right threads is important, even if it’s not explicitly stated in any specific equestrianism sports manual. The right gear not only keeps you safe, but it signals that you’re a valuable part of that sport’s community.

So what happens when you introduce a new horse-based “sport” to the world? You get to choose exactly how one should dress if they participate.

In the video, you’ll see the brand spanking new look of a blossoming sport — mini horse riding.

First, you need a classy felt top hat. This should be obvious to everyone, of course. Then go to your local British haberdashery and acquire riding breeches and a double-breasted tailcoat. To finish off your ensemble, it’s time to travel back to the 90s to get some cheesy WWE wrestler sunglasses and a killer set of rollerblades.

Yes, that’s right, rollerblades.

Of course, this is not a new sport, but instead, a near perfect video created by Pontus Hugosson to surprise and delight you. And believe me, it is the most delightful thing you’ll see in at least the next five minutes.

Sally forth and tally-ho!
