SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority will be running extra trains to help manage traffic during general conference weekend, April 6 and 7.

The organization suggests attendees avoid driving and take Trax or FrontRunner trains in order to reduce traffic and maintain air quality as the masses throng toward downtown Salt Lake City. There will be extra cars on the Blue and Green line trains throughout the weekend, as well as two extra Blue Line trains before and after each session.

Additional trains and their timing for each general conference session can be found here:

Starting Sunday, April 7, UTA will also be implementing changes to much of Salt Lake City’s bus and rail system, according to an earlier statement. The changes will be manifested in the S-line and a variety of bus routes around Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Utah, Summit and Box Elder counties.
