SALT LAKE CITY — Just when you hoped fire season might be coming to an end, it starts up again with a vengeance.

Over the past few weeks, Utah has seen several new fires start up. Residents have been evacuated, roads have been closed and smoke has filled several parts of the valley. For updates on the fires, follow our latest coverage here.

And fortunately, there are also positive things happening around the state: beautiful sunsets, sunrises and the first batch of fall colors. We've got a bit of each of these things in this week's gallery, so browse through the photos to see it all.
