THE MOZZARELLA CONCERTO — I have often thought to myself about the fact that I'm not famous and my talents are not on the surface when I'm just walking around.
No one on the street knows how gifted I am at eating burgers or binge-watching TV. Which gets me wondering, what does that normal looking guy or girl over there have an unbelievable talent for that isn't based on laziness that I have no idea about.
It's like when you find out a coworker has hiked Everest or that your neighbor played college football and actually started. Everyone around us has incredible talents and accomplishments, but too often they are so humble that we have no idea what they are capable of. That's exactly what happened when 18-year-old pizza delivery driver Bryce spotted a grand piano in the home of a customer.
Bryce was in awe of the instrument and the homeowner asked him if he'd like to come in and see it. Bryce accepted the invitation, sat down and started playing a masterful rendition of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
The homeowner got the impromptu performance on camera and quickly ABC News caught wind of it and started sharing it with the world.
Bryce is truly gifted and you can find out more about him and his piano playing history — which started at the age of 6 — in the attached video.
And let's remember that there is almost always more than meets the eye with everyone we meet. We all have special talents. Even if in my case that's just eating and staring.
