OGDEN — Police released the name of a woman Friday who died in a motorcycle crash in Ogden earlier this month.

Jennifer Adams, 45, was driving a motorcycle southbound on Washington Boulevard about 4:30 p.m. on June 5 when she collided with another vehicle at 12th Street, according to Ogden Police Lt. Brian Eynon.

The collision threw Adams into traffic where she was hit by another vehicle. Though Adams was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation, but Eynon said Adams may have run into the back of another vehicle, causing her to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Police temporarily closed all southbound lanes of Washington Boulevard for a few hours.
