SARATOGA SPRINGS — A man died after his motorcycle was hit by a car Tuesday night, police say.

The crash happened at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Crossroads Boulevard shortly after 8:30 p.m. The motorcyclist was going through the intersection when a woman driving a car failed to yield while making a left turn and hit him, according to Saratoga Springs Police Cpl. Andres Gianfelice.

The man, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The car's driver did not appear to be impaired and was the only person in the vehicle, Gianfelice said. No other injuries were reported.

Police did not identify the motorcyclist Tuesday night and were in the process of notifying the next of kin, Gianfelice said.
