HAPPY TIMES — Some days waking up in the morning and getting yourself ready for work may be the most difficult thing in the world.
There are times that you just can't even think about trying to hit the grind one more time and want nothing more than to just stay in bed and pretend like you didn't have to go to work. I have a feeling I'm not the only one who has had this feeling. It's on days like these that I'm so grateful people like ChristyAnne Seamons exist.
Randy Hansen was driving through a McDonald's drive-thru in Hyrum, Utah, when he captured ChristyAnne not only doing her job, but enjoying it thoroughly. Hansen pumps up the tunes in his car and Seamons lays down the vibe with her dance moves. You can tell she is a happy person, and it's infectious and just what I need to see on a day where I feel like I just can't.
While we're all loving this video, Seamons doesn't understand all the attention.
"While I usually love being in the limelight, this video puzzles me," Seamons wrote to KSL.com. "I genuinely like people," she went on, "I was just born with a happy attitude. I love to bring a smile to someone’s face. Whether that’s telling silly jokes, asking someone why they are here visiting, giving hugs or high-fives!"
Seamons not only likes giving out high-fives, she also just wants to make people happy whether they are old, young or somewhere in between.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
"I like to make someone’s life brighter, even if it’s only for a brief time. Mountain Crest High School is close by, so we see a lot of teens. Some of them need to know they are not alone. I especially like being a 'safe zone,'" Seamons wrote. "I love older generations, they are so rich in color. I like to ask questions and really get to know folks. This is my community, I want to be part of it."
Seamons also said she loves to dance, but she may have been coaxed a little for the video.
"I dance because it’s fun (Randy & rowdy friends did egg me on)! I do a lot of things because I’m just a goof and like to have a sense of humor with my customers, why not?"
I agree, ChristyAnne, why not? I love this video and I love this attitude. Hopefully, we can all wake up each day a little more like ChristyAnne.
