(KSL News) A car crash knocked out power to thousands of Salt Lake City residents this morning.
The driver told police he hadn't gotten much sleep last night and dozed off while driving his car on 200 East at about 7:30 this morning. That's when he slammed into a power pole, knocking out power to several blocks in the area.
The driver escaped uninjured, and officers are still looking into the crash.
