SALT LAKE CITY — Utah is lucky enough to be home to hundreds of farmers throughout the state, and each year, farmers and members of the community are able to share their talents with others at annual farmers markets.
Although Utah is geographically the 13th largest state in the U.S., 80 percent of the population lives in metropolitan areas surrounding the Salt Lake City area, according to World Population Review.
Farmers markets often give the opportunity for many city dwellers who can't garden to get a taste of what life is like in the country and bring it closer to home.
