(KSL News) -- Detectives believe a man who robbed a hospital pharmacy today in Sandy, may have committed a string of other robberies in the Salt Lake Valley.
Pharmacists at Alta View Hospital say a man walked into the pharmacy around noon, and demanded Oxycontin. Witnesses say the robber claimed to have a gun. Pharmacists gave the thief Oxycontin, and he left.
Police say the suspect matches the description of a man who robbed six or seven other pharmacies for the same prescription drug.
