WEST JORDAN — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman suspected of robbing a credit union Saturday evening.
At around 5:30 p.m., a woman entered the America First Credit Union located inside the Smith’s Market Place at 1820 W. 9000 South, West Jordan police said. The woman then allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money.
Police told KSL the woman left with an "undisclosed amount of cash" but did not say whether anyone was injured during the alleged robbery.
The woman is described as being approximately 5-foot-6, 130 lbs. and was last seen wearing a green shirt, denim shorts, a baseball cap and sunglasses. Police said she may have a tattoo of a sun on the upper center of her back.
Police believe the woman arrived and left in what appeared to be a dark gray sedan.
