FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) -- A hearing has been set for a Syracuse couple charged in the beating death of the man's ten-year-old daughter.

Yesterday, 38-year-old Ryan William Andrews and 35-year-old Angela Ray Andrews were both in court for a roll-call hearing. Both of them are charged with first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse in the death of Shelby Andrews.

Police say the young girl was found dead in her Syracuse home on August first. Officers say the girl was severely beaten all over the body.

Both of the Andrews remain in custody at the Davis County Jail. Their preliminary hearing is set for September 27th.
