(KSL News) A man caught filming the lower halves of small children at the Orem Summerfest parade won't spend any more time locked up.
Richard Barney pleaded guilty today to attempted voyeurism. In exchange, other counts were dismissed.
Since Barney already spent 14 months in the Utah County jail, he was given credit for time served. He'll also be monitored for the rest of his life.
In 2001 he pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and was placed on probation for three years. In 2004, Barney was sent to federal prison for two years for violating terms of his supervised release, according to court records.
Barney is also listed on the state's sex offender Web site.
