On Jan. 12, administrators at Facebook reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a 26-year-old man had enticed three girls, between the ages of 13 and 15, to send pictures to him via private messenger, according to charging documents. The girls lived in Michigan, Alabama and Virginia.

A search warrant was served at Brown's residence on Tuesday.

On Brown's phone, investigators found seven images of a 13-year-old girl from Michigan, according to charging documents.

In 2010, Brown was charged with sexual battery. He pleaded guilty in 2011 and his charge was reduced to a class A misdemeanor as part of a plea deal, according to court records. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with allowances for work release. Brown was also ordered to successfully complete a sex offender treatment program, according to court records.
