(KSL News) A baby shower in West Valley went from festive to just plain ugly this weekend.
Police say 40-year-old Elena Baca began fighting with another woman at the shower on Sunday. It happened at 5642 W. Plumbago Ave.
The fight quickly escalated into a brawl and Baca allegedly hit the woman on the side of the head with a shovel, knocking her unconscious.
Baca's husband, Enrique, reportedly grabbed a shotgun from his truck and began pointing it at party guests.
The couple faces charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
