CHENGDU PANDA BASE — I could watch panda videos all day.
Last winter, I think I spent several hours rewatching this video of Tian Tian, the giant male panda at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., rolling around in the snow.
Everything pandas do just seems extra cute and cuddly, even when they're fighting with their nanny. In this video, several panda cubs at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding fight their nanny, Mei, as she tries to clean all the leaves out of their yard.
The baby pandas are not having her cleaning efforts, and they adorably roll around in the leaves and fight over baskets the entire time she's there.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
While I can't help but think, "aw, how cute!" as I watch the pandas, Mei is obviously frustrated that she can't do her job. Apparently, Mei and the pandas have a bit of an ongoing war. YouTube channel pandapia HD has several videos of the pandas blocking Mei from getting work done.
Fortunately for us, they are all equally filled with panda adorable-ness, so if you need a break from work today to fill your cuteness quota, head over to their channel.
