(KSL News) An Internet café exposed twice in a KSL investigation as a front for gambling is closed, at least for now.
Just last week our hidden camera showed you what's really going on at Hot Spot Internet in Midvale. We saw customer after customer placing bets, playing games, collecting cash.
Today the place is empty. A room once packed with video game machines is deserted. Midvale police tell us the city has started the process to revoke Hot Spot's business license.
Hot Spot's attorney says that has nothing to do with the closure. He says it's temporary while the owner buys new machines and hardware.
Earlier this year, Hot Spot was kicked out of Taylorsville.
