LaVerkin, Utah (AP) -- City officials in LaVerkin are trying to decide what to do with the aging 83-year-old building that serves as a municipal office building.
The options are either to replace a leaky roof and make other repairs or tear it down.
Built in 1925, the building was a church and social hub known as the White Chapel before it was purchased by the city in 1993.
The building has been damaged in recent years because of a failing roof. Replacing it would cost about $45,000 -- money that the small city doesn't have.
No decision has been made about what to do next. City officials say they'll continue to patch the roof as needed.
