LEHI, Utah (AP) -- A program at the Lehi Legacy Center gives kids -- ages three to five -- a chance to use their imaginations and their bodies while their moms exercise, too.
Fitness manager Tina Strong says it's a smart approach to help kids develop good fitness habits when they're young.
The class costs $3 per session and is offered every weekday morning.
Anna Butler, the mother of a 4-year-old boy, says she gets a chance to work out and her son enjoys an active alternative to day care.
Children participate in organized play, practice motor skills, talk about nutrition and end with a coloring sheet.
