CEDAR CITY— Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness is bringing parkour and ninja fitness to southern Utah January 2017 for people of all ages.

The gym will be devoted to obstacle-based training and will aim to provide an alternative form of fitness that is both challenging and fun, according to Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness.

The gym staff believes a parkour/ninja warrior gym will redefine fitness in southern Utah.

“Traditional gyms focus on isolating muscle groups, which will help an individual gain muscle,” Jami Menendez, co-owner of Bushiodo Parkour Ninja Fitness, said in a statement. “A parkour/ninja warrior gym puts muscles to work in a practical way, giving practical application to gym workouts.”

The new gym will feature over 15 obstacles, a core training station with medicine balls and kettle bells, monkey/pullup bars and a parkour street setup. The facility will also have an app that members can use to track their achievements and participate in challenges with fellow members.

“Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness is for everyone from all walks of life and all ages,” said Jami Menendez, co-owner of Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness. “Aspiring ninja warriors now have a gym to call home.”

Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness has launched a Kickstarter campaign* with a goal of raising $20,000 by Oct. 11.

“We have a lot to do, and we need everyone’s help to do it,” Menendez said.

Other ninja warrior gyms in Utah include Air Ninja Obstacle Course in Draper and Ninja Warehouse in Ogden.
