LAND AND SEA — Whether you like it or not, drones have become an everyday part of our lives.
There are drones at sporting events, tourist attractions, weddings and even delivering tacos. But now they can apparently sub for a towboat as well.
So, that's not totally true. A towboat puts out a wake for water skiers, wakeboarders and a slew of other water toys.
But now you may see more drones at the lake or the beach. This video from Freefly Systems shows off a drone towing a surfer across the water.
Freefly has dubbed it "dronesurfing" and it looks pretty awesome.
While it looks like fun, I am aware of my limitations and I cannot do this. My wake surfing skills are about as good as my baby birthing skills, which are absolute zero. My drone piloting skills are a touch better, like just above absolute zero.
So I'll just head to the lake with these people and watch the awesomeness unfold.
