SALT LAKE CITY — With so much bad news in the world, it's refreshing to hear the good news.
At KSL.com, we strive to share uplifting stories with our readers. Each Monday, our Make Your Week column highlights people who have experienced goodness in their lives.

"He always makes me feel better."
Emmy K.
"There's the nicest guy that sits on the planter (box) in the mornings greeting people on the way to work. He's not panhandling; he's just making everyone's day start out a little brighter. He's on the planter near the crosswalk between the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the Lion House — there's a crosswalk stoplight there directly across from the north Macy's entrance. He always makes me feel better."
