Kindness at the vet

"Yesterday when my husband and I got home from work, my daughter was laying next to her dog (German Shepherd Collie mix). The dog looked very lethargic and not himself. He had been throwing up all day and was not eating, so we got in the car and drove to the vetarinarian's hospital in Cottonwood Heights.
"When we got there, the dog was so out of it everyone could see that something was wrong. As I sat down next to this lady, we started to talk and I had told her that we had just lost a dog earlier this year and my cat had just gotten surgery for getting hit by a car. When she got up to go to her visit, my dog threw up right by her feet. Once we got back to our room, the doctor took our dog back and came back with bad news.
"Our dog had parvo. He explained to us that it was going to cost $900 to $2,000, and that he would have to stay the night and maybe even another night. Me, my husband and my daughter started to cry. I had to look at my 10-year-old daughter and tell her we may have to put him down. Just then, the front desk lady came in and told us that a good Samaritan just paid for our full bill. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I cried in joy. My daughter cried, and my husband was in disbelief. I was so shocked, I was shaking. I asked who may have paid, and they said that she would like to stay anonymous."
An empathetic hairstylist

"Laura Hammon, mother of 9 kids, is a family friend to my family. When my dad found out she was diagnosed with cancer, he wanted to help. He fundraised money to purchase Laura a beautiful human hair wig. Then he turned to me and Taylor Andrews Hair Academy for help.
"Lexi Muir is a student at Taylor Andrews, and she is battling Alopecia (she has been completely bald since she was a junior in high school). Lexi wanted to be there for Laura to show her wig care and styling. Lexi went without her wig on Tuesday so Laura didn’t feel uncomfortable or alone. I have never had a student with Alopecia, let alone met a hairstylist with Alopecia. Lexi wanted to help Laura feel confident and beautiful! Truly a heartwarming story."
