ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Dixie State College has made some changes that school officials hope make students feel more at home.
Dixie State officials say they want the two-year school to feel more like a four-year institution.
Some of the changes included minor renovations to the Old Gym. Rooms were painted, cleaned and restructured. There's an additional workout area as well as a new TV lounge area.
Study rooms with wireless Internet were also added.
Campus officials say they wanted to give students a place to socialize and relax in between classes. Or, the students can find a quiet place to study.
