(KSL News) An overnight car accident left two people dead and another person injured in Washington County.

It happened at about 1:30 a.m. near mile post 12. A white Ford Mustang veered off the road and rolled several times before coming to rest on its left side.

St. George residents, Sheila Tahy and Fermina Begay were both killed. Another passenger was injured. All three were wearing their seatbelts.

Alcohol and speed are suspected to have been a factor in this accident.
