ST. GEORGE — A St. George woman died Thursday evening after crashing an ATV while on an outing with her husband, police said.

Around 7 p.m., the 36-year-old woman crashed in the southwest St. George neighborhood of Bloomington, said St. George Police Sgt. Wade Johnson.

The woman was wearing a helmet when she crashed, Johnson said. She died at the scene.

Investigators suspect speed contributed to the crash, the sergeant said.

The woman's husband was the only other person on the trip with her.

The woman's name was not immediately released, pending notification of family members, Johnson said.
