SANDY, Utah (AP) -- Two educators are finalists for the superintendent's job at the newly formed East Jordan School District.
School district officials say Dave Doty of Sandy and Martin Bates of Salt Lake City top the list for the job.
The two have similar backgrounds, including academic degrees from Brigham Young University.
The school board plans to hire a new superintendent on Aug. 19.
