A woman says her father made her trick Kmart in to giving her thousands of dollars worth of gift cards.

According the Deseret News, court documents say the 24-year-old woman used her position at Kmart to alter a check by changing the name and date, then using it to buy $25,000 in gift cards.

The documents say she told police she knew it was wrong but did it anyway because her father had given her the check and threatened to kill her if she didn't send him the gift cards.
