SALT LAKE CITY — The eastbound I-80 ramp to southbound I-15 was closed after a truck jackknifed Tuesday.
The accident was not weather-related, but instead the result of a mechanical issue, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Investigators said the truck had a flatbed that shifted and came apart from the truck. The driver was not injured.
The closure was lifted at about 1 p.m. Commuters were advised to avoid the area.
