KEARNS — A 12-year-old boy missing for five days was found "in good health" Monday evening, officials said.
Bradyn Ward fled from the Juvenile Receiving Center at 166 W. Price Ave. in South Salt Lake and hadn't been seen or heard from since Thursday. Officials from the Unified Police Department reached out to the media Monday morning, asking the public for help in locating the boy.
Just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell informed KSL News that Bradyn had been found "thanks to the media coverage," and was back home with his mother.
Bradyn's family believed he was possibly with a friend from school, whom he got into trouble with Wednesday, but Bell did not have information on where the boy had been for the past five days.
More information will be posted once it becomes available.
