NEW YORK (AP) — ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee delivered the weather on "Good Morning America" last Friday, and a baby the very next day.

The network said the 34-year-old Zee and her husband, Ben Aaron, are the parents of a boy. It's their first child. Adrian Benjamin Colonomos was born Saturday morning in New York, clocking in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.

Zee's colleagues at "Good Morning America" held a brief party for her on the air Friday. Zee has been keeping a blog about her pregnancy, with the last entry before birth titled, "My Hips Are Killing Me."

Zee promised to viewers that she'll be back after taking some time off.
