Turkey Gouda Sandwich With Peach Chutney & Red Grapes
Yield: 5 Servings
Ingredients:
Turkey Gouda Sandwich
½ cup Canned Peaches in Juice, Diced, Drained
½ cup Apricot Preserves
2 tsp. Green Onion, Thinly Sliced
1 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1/3 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2-1/2 tbsp. Lite Mayonnaise
5 slices Wheatberry Bread, ½" slices
5 each Green Leaf Lettuce, Leaf
5 slices Smoked Gouda Cheese, 1oz slices
15 ounces Fresh Roasted Turkey Breast, Sliced
Red Grapes
2-1/2 cup Red Grapes, Washed
Preparations:
Turkey Gouda Sandwich
1. In a bowl combine the peaches, apricot preserves, green onion, balsamic vinegar and crushed red pepper.
2. Spread the mayonnaise on each slice of bread; slice in half at an angle.
3. Top each half with a lettuce leaf, 1 slice of cheese, 3 ounces of turkey and 2 T of chutney.
4. Top with other half of bread.
Plate Assembly
Serve a half of sandwich with ½ cup of red grapes per serving.
