SOUTH SALT LAKE — South Salt Lake police on Thursday identified the man who died this week from injuries suffered in an auto shop fire last week.

Brian Ennis, 48, was burned over most of his body Nov. 2 when a heater inside the shop, 166 E. 3825 South, ignited fuel that spilled from the vehicle on which he was working.

Ennis succumbed to his injuries Monday.

One other person was in the shop during the fire, but they were not injured, fire officials said. The shop sustained between $20,000 and $25,000 in damage, according to the South Salt Lake Fire Department.
