(KSL News) -- "We assured the kids that we would do everything we could to apprehend this young man, and that the program would be a safe place for them to stay and return to next week."
A vandal tried to ruin the fun for kids involved in the Youth City day camp. Video cameras caught the young man throwing a chunk of cement through a window of the building housing the camp early this morning.
He then grabbed a bag of tools and ran out the door.
However, the whole day wasn't spoiled; teachers moved some tables outside so they could still have their calligraphy class.
