(KSL News) With the squabbles over ReAL Salt Lake in Salt Lake, could the soccer team be headed south to Happy Valley?
After Salt Lake County Council shot down ReAL's Sandy stadium proposal earlier this week, the owners of the old Geneva Steel property have now proposed building a soccer only stadium at the site in Utah County.
The stadium would be the anchor to a 17- hundred acre mixed development, and the landowners say they're willing to deed as much as 30 acres to team owner Dave Checketts at no cost.
They believe the cost of giving ReAL free land is worth the potential commercial development around a stadium.
