THE MUPPET THEATER — What happens you combine the powers Lindsey Stirling, Josh Groban and the Muppets? Internet magic.
We all know that the Internet always is squirreling away little nuggets of joy and awesomeness for us to stumble upon during our online adventures. But sometimes the “powers that be” purposefully come together to give us something a little more delightful than the average Internet shenanigans.
Enter local and Internet darling Stirling, music giant Groban and the comedic stylings of The Muppets, and you’ve got a charming “golden ticket” version of “Pure Imagination” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
Groban sings the song, which happens to appear on his new album; Lindsey plays and dances, which happens to be what you’ll see on her current tour; and The Muppets provide their usual charm and humor, which happens to be the subject of their soon-to-be-revived TV show.
It’s a win-win-win for them, and a definite (if not late) win for us in this two-month-old video.
