RENO, Nev. (AP) — A Delaware-based company is the new owner of the Siena Hotel Spa Casino under a deal finalized this week.
The Reno Gazette Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/1LFHZQ3) the former property owner announced the pending sale of the property in May and closed gambling operations at the casino Tuesday.
The high-end, 215-room property was owned by Las Vegas-based Colvin Gaming Group and managed through Grand Sienna LLC. Wednesday's sale makes HMRN LLC the third entity to own the property since it opened in 2001.
HMRN LLC officials could not be reached for comment.
Grand Sienna LLC said in its May news release announcing the pending sale that the new owner is planning a multimillion-dollar renovation and a partnership with an internationally recognized hotel and resort brand.
