Mary Richards reportingFrom Kaysville to North Salt Lake, Davis County residents are dealing with a lot of road projects this summer.

Pulling into South Davis Rental and Service, I maneuvered around orange barrels on Highway 89. Manager Randy Simmons guided me in. "Don't hit any cones!" he said.

Davis County drivers have long construction season ahead

Simmons says the business is doing OK through the construction, but going home can be rough. "Two roads or three roads just to my house are closed down," he said.

For those dealing with work on Glover Lane, Parish Lane, Legacy Parkway, I-15, I-215, 200 West and 1500 South in Bountiful and here on Highway 89, Simmons has got some advice. "There's a lot better things to stress about than traffic," he said.
