LAS VEGAS (AP) — Sixty acres of land off the Las Vegas Strip that at one time promised a George Clooney-backed resort is for sale again and for a third of its pre-recession price. Broker CBRE said yesterday the land in-between the Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock hotels and casinos is on the market.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada lawmakers have passed a bill requiring more online sellers to collect and pay sales taxes. The bill seeks to require Internet sellers outside the state to collect sales taxes if they complete a certain amount of sales inside Nevada or solicit sales through the Internet.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada senators have approved and sent to the governor a bill that would clear the way for counties to tie their fuel tax levels to the rate of inflation. The measure creates a 2016 ballot question in most Nevada counties asking voters whether they want to index the fuel tax.
