GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — The 13th son of a Michigan couple now has a name.
Forty-year-old Jay Schwandt told The Associated Press in a text message that the couple decided Friday morning to name their newborn Francisco Matthew Schwandt.
The father said earlier it was a challenge for him and his wife, Kateri, to agree on a name.
The latest addition was born on Wednesday at Mercy Health Saint Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. The baby and 40-year-old mother have been doing well.
The family lives in Rockford, north of Grand Rapids. They don't have any daughters.
